José has over 18 years of financial experience, which started when he worked with a Broker-Dealer which provided a glimpse of research, financial & valuation by generating financial models on companies with big ideas in technologies, Robotics, Clean Energy. During the financial crisis in 2008, he created a company that exported Hand-Carved wooden frames that initially sold locally, then after 6 months of production, José provided cost efficient products, maintaining its beautiful and unique designs, in combination with marketing strategies. The company started exporting its products to Panama, California, London, Australia and Germany.
In 2012, José began working in the Secretary of Finance in which he worked for 11 years with International Organizations such as World Bank, Inter-American Development (IADB),& International Monetary Fund (IMF). During this period, in the Secretary of Finance, José provided financial analysis of 25 years of Social Security economic-financial evolution (rates, pensions, medical benefits, other economic benefits) and developed a financial model/forecast, that provided sound effective cash flow and financial stability to cushion external effects (revenue fluctuations by COVID).
